Okösan 09 - The first International symposium on high-quality thermal retrofit of large volumes will be held from the 7th to the 9th October 2009 in Weiz (Austria). The event will have the participation of planners, architects, engineers, people responsible for energy in companies, office and authorities, universities of applied sciences, etc. The symposium will have topics such as 'Frame conditions and overview on ecological building effort', 'International Programs about the Funding of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy', 'New Components for the building service and quality assurance tools' and 'Examples for innovative building, energy and retrofit concepts'. The organizers have also launched a Call for Papers. The deadlines of the Call are the 16th February for the abstracts and the 4th September for the papers.
