A Symposium on 'Small PV-Applications: Rural electrifications and Commercial Use' will be held on the 25th and 26th May in Ulm, Germany. The two-days conference will be organized by the Ostbayerisches Technologie-Transfer-Institut e.V. (OTTI).

The symposium will focus on:

  • Description of existing markets and state of art technology
  • Open discussion of good and of bad examples of systems and
distribution strategies
  • Development of a vision for small pv applications, their technologies and markets

Call for Papers:

Topics

Papers are invited on the following topics:
  1. Rural Electrifi cation: Solar Home Systems
  2. Rural Electrifi cation: Power for Infrastructures
  3.  Industrial Applications (e.g. Telecommunication)
  4. Integrated Systems and Products (e.g. Street Lights)
Regarding Following Aspects:

  • Components
  • Systems
  • Field Experience
  • Market Development, Distributon, Financing

The deadline for submission of abstracts is January 26th 2009.
