With these indicators being disseminated periodically through mass media all over Europe, the RE barometers shall aid decision-takers on all levels to better know the reality of renewable energy sources in Europe and to make more favourable decisions with regard to renewable energies. More precisely, it shall be an essential information tool to accompany and amplify the increase in popularity and importance of renewable energies in Europe. The barometers are prepared by Observ’ER in the scope of the “EurObserv’ER” Project which groups together Observ’ER, Eurec Agency, Erec, Jozef Stefan Institute, Eufores, Systèmes Solaires with the financial support of the Ademe and DG Tren (“Intelligent Energy-Europe” programme).
