Biogas Barometer

5.35 MTOE VALORISED IN EUROPEAN UNION IN 2006

European Union countries are becoming more and more interested by the characteristics of biogas in terms of environment and energy production, and are developing their proper channels of valorisation according to their potential. In this way, biogas production reached nearly 5.3 million tons oil equivalent in 2006, representing a 13.6% increase with respect to 2005.
