PISA stands for "Photovoltaic Information Strategy to Architects"

The PISA II initiative builds on the results of the first phase of the PISA project comprising a survey that clearly revealed the need for more authoritative information on PV in buildings, both with the general public and with architects.

The PISA II project is an EU-sponsored initiative for stimulating the debate on integration of photovoltaics in buildings and for communication and dissemination. It is a joint initiative of the Architect's Council of Europe (ACE) and the European Renewable Energy Centres Agency (EUREC Agency). Third partner in the project was professional journalist, director of a company specialised in communication strategies (MVO Produkties). The information material targeting architects has been prepared by an architect group well known for its expertise in the field of building integrated photovoltaics.
