14 June 2011-EUREC workshop at the European Parliament

Latest News: Press release- 20 June 2011
EUREC Agency, in collaboration with MEP Judith Merkies, has hold a workshop on the successor programme to FP7 on 14 June at the European Parliament 4-6:30pm. The date also marked the 20th anniversary of EUREC Agency and food and drinks were served afterwards at nearby Renewable Energy House to celebrate the occasion.
Debate surrounding the EU’s support for research and innovation is intensifying as summer approaches, with a European Commission public consultation on a new approach to combine research, demonstration and innovation instruments in one programme recently closed. The EC announced the results at a public conference on 10 June before preparing its legislative proposal by end 2011. EUREC Agency submitted its position paper, which can be found here.
