E-world 201616 - 18 February 2016
The E-world energy & water 2016 gives institutes and universities the opportunity to present themselves to potential investors and financial partners at the leading European trade fair for the energy sector. In addition, they reap the benefits of expert forums, specialist congresses and panel discussions.
Over the past 15 years, the E-world energy & water has developed into the industrial event for the European energy sector. Last year, the trade fair recorded 640 exhibitors and 24,000 expert visitors from 80 countries. The area of Smart Energy provides an informative platform for integrated and efficient energy solutions. We are able to exclusively provide representatives of the science and technology sector with a convenient, favourable package for a successful appearance at the trade fair.
Over 130 exhibitors will be presenting their companies in the Smart Energy area; a quadrupling of the number of companies over the past three years. The most successful communal stand concept at the E-world also represents the most highly visited industry get-together for intelligent and efficient energy solutions in Germany. Exhibitors and visitors benefit from panel discussions and presentations which are first-rate in terms of content – this creates real added value.
The politically-oriented Energy Transition Forum places emphasis on issues in the area of developing decentralised power generation, setting up virtual power plants and the potential applications and marketing opportunities for energy storage. In addition, the intelligent linking of energy, communication and transport infrastructures in the cities of the future (Smart Cities) will be discussed and the ongoing issue of Energy Efficiency covered extensively. The Smart Tech-Forum covers Smart Grids and the challenges of using Smart Metering Systems. The protection of energy statistics and customer data in the field of Smart Metering is an important part of this. Buzz words such as Energy 2.0, IT-Security and Big Data are constantly increasing in importance. For 2016, the organisers plan to make the Smart Energy section even more international.
