What sustainable energy actions are being successfully implemented across Europe? What are the key factors for their success and how can they be replicated? These and more questions will be addressed by the conference "Bridging the gap: sustainable energy actions from planning to implementation”. Inspiring examples, good practices, and hands-on recommendations will be presented by local and regional governments and energy stakeholders that are designing, financing and implementing sustainable energy actions in their territories.
This free one-day workshop will provide ideas on how to bridge the gap between planning and implementing a wide range of sustainable energy actions, from energy efficiency and mobility measures, to renewable energy production and building renovation. The event will share lessons learned from two Intelligent Energy Europe funded projects: BEAST (Beyond Energy Action Strategies) and MAYORS in ACTION.
In addition to a great line-up of speakers and experts, the event will provide opportunities for exchange and discussion. A round of speed presentations will look at financing and implementing sustainable energy action, followed by an interactive panel discussion. A "matchmaking lunch”, in which expert hosts facilitate the networking among participants in a series of topical roundtables, will conclude the event.
Registration willl open soon.
