The 2nd South East European Conference on Sustainable Development of Energy, Water and Environment Systems (SDEWES SEE2016) will be held in Piran and Portorož from 15 - 18 June 2016. The scientific quality of the conferences is confirmed by the fact that leading international archival scientific journals have in the past dedicated and published special issues for selected and reviewed papers from the conferences, and some intend to do that also for the next SDEWES conference. The past publications resulting from the Conferences can be found at http://www.sdewes.org/journals.php.
The main goals of the SEE SDEWES conferences are:
- To provide scientific support to the SEE economies in pursuing the common challenge to commit to, and sustain the implementation of long-term reforms aimed at increasing competitiveness and promoting sustainable, inclusive and balanced development, as well as better integration between the EU Member States, candidate and potential candidate countries and neighboring countries.
- To ensure bi-directional knowledge flow, to and from SEE region, providing a venue for the researchers from the SEE region, as well as for world-wide researchers and specialists and those interested in learning about the sustainability of development to present research progress and to discuss the state of the art, the future directions and priorities in the various areas of sustainable development and regional integration.
Authors willing to present a paper should submit an abstract in English, up to one page, using this form: http://www.piran2016.sdewes.org/call.php
These abstracts will then be reviewed by the International Scientific Committee. The full papers will be directly submitted via electronic submission system.
