“Gleisdorf SOLAR” Conference 2012 will discuss solar thermal applications
The solar city of Gleisdorf will host on 12-14 September 2012 the “Gleisdorf SOLAR” International Conference, an event organized by AEE – Institute for Sustainable Technologies (AEE INTEC).
The summit has developed a single reputation during the last years and now attracts attention from all over the globe. The next edition, which will happen for the tenth time in cooperation with the city of Gleisdorf and Feistritzwerke Steweag, is expected to be attended by approximately 400 participants from at least 20 countries.
In 2012, the conference will have simultaneous translation to English and German and will cover a variety of topics, such as markets and support mechanisms, components and system developments, thermal storages, new materials for solar thermal applications as well as design- and dimensioning tools, the solar active building, large-scale solar thermal systems and solar cooling and air conditioning.
The call for papers is already open with the deadline for presenting abstracts on the 24th February 2012. Then, applicants will receive the notification of acceptance in April. The full paper (8-10 pages) will come out on the 24th August.
Gleisdorf lies in the hills of the Austrian province of Styria, approximately 25 km east of the capital of the province, Graz.
