Professor positions on thermal energy conversion available in the Belgians VUB and ULB

The Belgian Universities Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) and Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) have announced two full-time professor positions in the field of thermal energy conversion. The starting day will be on October 1st 2012.

The two candidates (one for each University) will teach in the field of Engineering Thermodynamics, Piston Engines, Renewable Energy, Rational use of Energy, Energy in Buildings and Thermal Power plants. These courses will be shared by the two professors. Other extra topics may be energy economy, industrial energy management and energy related lifecycle analysis.

Furthermore, the Universities from Brussels offer a variety of Research fields, such as piston engines (biofuels), energy in Buildings, biomass energy conversion.

The Brussels Faculty of Engineering (Bruface) is an initiative of the ULB and the VUB. These universities jointly offer a broad spectrum of fully English taught master programmes in engineering.
